Smithflix Hub

The small service behind the Smithflix apps. It runs on the PowerEdge and is reached at https://app.smithflix.us.

  • Requests: search for titles and request them through Seerr. Each request is sent as the signed-in person, so Seerr's own permissions and auto-approve rules apply.
  • "Not on Smithflix yet": serves the AI's nightly picks of titles you don't have yet (written by the AI playlist script to /opt/jellyfin-ai-playlist/data/suggestions.json).
  • Web app: serves the Smithflix web app and installs new versions from GitHub automatically.

Setup: cp .env.example .env # then paste your Seerr API key docker compose up -d --build docker logs -f smithflix-hub

Health check: http://192.168.86.20:8097/api/health
